Next Steps
ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW START WITH GOD?
Water Baptism
Water baptism is a remarkable testament to your public confession of your faith in, and commitment to, Jesus Christ. If you would like to be water baptized, please make sure that you have attended Growtrack and the water baptism class. If you need more information, please fill out the information below and someone will contact you within the next 1-2 business days.
Growtrack
Join us for Growtrack, a four-week journey to inspire, equip, and connect you. We want our church family to discover their God-given purposes and understand how each one has unique gifts and talents designed to strengthen the Church and community. Growtrack happens every week, with the introductory session occurring on the first Sunday of the month. It is held in our Growtrack room at 11:15 AM. We invite you to jump in at any time!
Life Groups
There is more to being a Christian than just attending a church service. It involves being a part of His family and having a deeper and personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. You CAN be a part of a small Bible Study to dive deeper into scripture. You CAN join a Life Group that is connection-focused, Bible-driven, and prayer-centered. You CAN take classes to be a better steward of your money, learn money management skills, enhance your marriage with a couple’s class, and engage in other vital classes that pertain to your current place in life.
Daily Devotion
Being in God’s Word every single day is our true desire for you. Our daily devotionals are a tool for you to use. You CAN get our 3-month Devotional Books at the Welcome Center during any service time. You CAN also go to wordforyou.com and sign up to receive the daily devotion on your phone.
Volunteer to Serve
If you want to serve at Brightmoor, attend Growtrack. We will offer you an online assessment of Understanding Spiritual Gifts. Once you complete this, we will be able to help you use those gifts to live out God’s purpose for your life.
Membership
There is something powerful about moving beyond simply attending church. Church membership is for anyone who is ready to commit to being a part of this church and agrees with Brightmoor Church’s beliefs, strategy, and structure. If you are interested in becoming a member of Brightmoor, we ask that you attend our four-week journey, Growtrack, to learn more about membership.
The Chosen @ Brightmoor
The Chosen series is the brainchild of Dallas Jenkins - Evangelical Christian writer, director, and filmmaker. It is also the largest, crowd-funded media project of all time and has been seen in over 150 countries.
The Chosen is NOT the Bible nor does it seek to be or replace reading and studying the Bible. We are watching The Chosen portraying Jesus "through the eyes of those who met him" but we are taking the extra step to look at the Bible text from NIV or NTL that shares with us the first hand account of the life of Jesus.

Luke Bonzelaar
Luke is no stranger to Brightmoor Church, having grown up as a child running the hallways. He joined the Brightmoor Team in 2023. One of his most vivid memories is anxiously walking into youth group for the first time and being greeted by a young person at the door. The warm greeting and friendly smile made him feel truly welcome. All these years later, Luke is on a mission to extend the same hospitality to all who enter the church doors. When he’s not in the office, he’s either training for his next obstacle race, working in the yard, or catching up on the latest episode of Survivor.
“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 10:39
