Co-ed Study Cracking the communication code between husband and wife involves understanding one thing: that unconditional respect is as powerful for him as unconditional love is for her. Based on over three decades of counseling, as well as scientific and biblical research, the Love and Respect Workbook is for anyone: those in marital crisis, the happily married, engaged couples, pastors and counselors, and small groups. This dynamic and life-changing message is impacting the world, resulting in the healing and restoration of countless relationships.

If you are carrying the quiet pain of distance or estrangement from an adult child, you are not alone.

Brightmoor will be offering a 13-week PEAC (Parents of Estranged Adult Children) support group for parents navigating estrangement. The group follows a 12-step approach, incorporates insights from Living in the Land of Estrangement, and is grounded in a Christian journey of healing, grace, and hope.

In a confidential and compassionate setting, participants can share as they feel comfortable and connect with others who understand. The group will be led by a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM, beginning April 22.

Parental Estrangement Awareness & Connection

The 5 Love Languages concept, created by Christian pastor Dr. Gary Chapman, identifies five ways to express and receive emotional love: words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. Christian-based small group studies use these principles alongside scripture to help couples enrich their marriages.
